Camped here a couple nights last summer, grumpy old man didn't like the idea we wanted to have a campfire but said ok but keep it small, wasn't sure of checkout time so I was leaving out at 12 when I pulled up to dump my tanks the hole was locked,I saw grumpy in the distance so I waited a few minutes then walked over a couple hundred feet to ask him to unlock the hole,he replied checkout is 12 not 12:05 I had a lunch date,I said sorry I wasn't sure of checkout,he then stood there till my tanks emptied not saying a word,by the way the wash out hose didn't work,I won't be back here unless new tenant, white acres down the road has full hookup with large sites.
The grumpy old man drove up before 9am (when the office opens) and staright away asked who was paying! No high how was your stay.. Excuess me but 80% of your business comes from word of mouth and ill make sure everyone i know and who reads this that looks can be deseving. Oh by the way maybe you think about cleaning the bathrooms. Dont think it was worth 15.
We showed up in the middle of the night... And waited around til the office was opened for the day so we could pay for our one night stay.
Ive camped my entire life all over in many different states and i have never been shocked on how low the welcomesness as i have here with the grumpy old man.
Pulled in the other day to turn around i had missed the street i was looking for, i was greeted by an old my on a green golf cart he says to me "do i come to your house and drive in your grass" i responed " no sir i was just turning around im sorry" he then says " i dont care you get the hell outta here and dont come back!" dont know how you guys get buissness with an owner like but i do know i wont be back ever
Nice people running the campgrounds. Peaceful and well maintained. Our dogs were welcome and had lots of nice grass to play on. The manager even helped us hookup our RV. We left a day earlier than expected only because we were out for business and finished early. I would be happy to stay there again.
I would had stay, but there is labor going on. I took pic and than I'm gone! Never be back!!! I post it on here!! Stay away! P.s. look at pic, there dead turtle next too it. Man I was if my dog had drink that water. She be dead.
