Great customer service. Very knowledgeable staff and helpful. Worth the trip to Bardstown from Elizabethtown. Lowe’s in Elizabethtown is a nightmare for customers who are not contractors.
Selection is somewhat limited compared to locations in other cities, recommend checking online for item availability at location before making the trip.
The selection of appliances was good but their delivery service is terrible. They promise next day delivery but then tell you it will be a week. Then schedule delivery and don't show or call. Two days in a row they were scheduled and never showed or called. When I went to the store they said they were having trouble with drivers. But why no call telling me your not coming. Very poor business practices
Although all Lowes (layouts and merchandise) are basically the same, the customer service at this one was particularly troubling. I came in for several items, the last of which was the Christmas special $199 Kobalt miter saw. I found it and asked a fellow to help me with getting it to the checkout as the package was heavy and I am disabled. He obliged, but we discovered the package HEAVILY damaged on the outside. I asked if there was another, and he flagged down another guy (to ask), who was completely dismissive and suggested I take the damaged box since it was the store's last saw. When I declined, he snorted at me in disgust, as if i were stupid because i couldn't understand that the items inside were probably fine and walked away without another word.
The associate there was very helpful. When he couldn't provide me with the product I needed he found it online for me!
