We waited fifteen minutes before we were waited on. Food was ok a little cool. One steak was tough. We have eaten there several times before and it was good.
There were three cashiers at the counter, yet it took longer to get through the checkout line than it did to eat... and there was only one person ahead of me. Their incompetence was overwhelming. Where was the manager, and why wasn't he/she intervening? Might want to think about having one line for dining checkout only, and see if you can inject a sense of urgency to your staff.
The food is always great. The staff is very friendfly..any wait you have can easily be filled by the store/gift shop. They a always have good specials...the holiday pricing on items is AWESOME! IT IS WORTH THE TRIP! they also cater. They have done functions I have attended and the food was outstanding
We normally go to cracker barrels when we are traveling. This time wasn't different. The place was beautiful. But the waitress was a horrible listener. I ordered their southern grilled chicken Caesar salad. And she only heard Caesar. The salad I ordered was $8.99. She charged me for a grilled tender salad with extra dressing that cost $9.29. This salad didn't have anything to do with a Caesar salad except its dressing, that clearly was specialized because I said the word "Caesar". I couldn't complain because once she came back, she dropped the check off and didn't even ask if we wanted refills. Her name was cami, as seen on the provided picture of the receipt.
We decided to stop in for a late lunch as we drove through town. It wasn't busy, and we were seated right away in the far back corner. We ordered a salad with no meat (for vegetarian) and sampler platter with 2 sides. The salad came back loaded with bacon bits, and we had to ask several times for our 2 sides that finally arrived at the end of the meal. The server was busy showing the other tables family pics from her phone etc. We didn't get any refills on water or coffee, got the wrong check (higher amount). It seems this place isn't geared to travellers, more just locals.
